The “We Got Married” lovebirds that are currently dating are Jun Jin & Lee Shi-young. Of course, the most popular first generation couples, such as Andy & Solbi, Crown J & Suh In-young, and Hwang-bo & Hyun-joong, are the fan favorites that many wished would blossom into real-life romance, but one should not forget that this is a reality show, which means that it is completely fake.Apparently, ahjusshi Jun Jin and Gundam lover Lee Shi-young developed genuine good feelings for one another, while filming “We Got Married” and collaborating together on Jun Jin’s “Fascination” album.Lee Shi-young’s representative stated that “it is true that the two are seeing each other, but it is known that they have not come to a stage where they are a couple yet.” This most likely means that they haven’t hit the precious 100 day mark yet, but if all goes well, “We Got Married” may someday live up to its name. It used to be one segment of the Sunday Sunday Night program. First broadcast in 2008, the show pairs up Korean celebrities to show what life would be like if they were married, however, some couples are real-life couples that eventually got married. With a new format and slightly different couples, newlyweds are given a mission to complete each week.As during the special pilot episode, interviewed participants provide a unique perspective on the ongoing relationship conflicts and developments.
Original couples As of May 2009, the producers announced another change in the format with all four couples departing, cutting down to just one couple and shortening the show to just 60 minutes. The show will now portray a more realistic side to what a marriage is, instead of "the painted image of marriage based on romance".For the first time, a real couple is cast in the show.Guest celebrities are invited to be show's commentators for each episode so that they can share their opinions on marriage on behalf of their age group.
SG Wannabe's Kim Yong-jun and Hwang Jung-eum also do the interview room together dressed in wedding attire.
However, due to low ratings, the show returned to its old format with the addition of a make-believe couple actor Park Jae-jung and After School member Uee on 2 August 2009.
